The Hutan is where our joinery shows off a little. The drawer and door fronts are cut from a single walnut board and laid out in sequence, so the grain runs unbroken across the face of the cabinet.

Inside, dovetailed solid drawers glide on soft-close runners, and the cabinet stands on turned solid legs rather than a plinth, so it reads light in a room. Walnut deepens beautifully with age; this is a piece that looks better in ten years than the day it arrives.
